Lil Sugar recently asked What’s the right age to Start drop-off birthday parties? Typically, children ages 6-years-old and older are expected to be dropped off, but when we opened it up to hear our readers opinions, we got some very interesting feedback. In particular, Joyce W. mentioned the following important factors to consider when determining if you should stay of drop off.
I think it depends on a lot of things….the party venue (danger potential), the other family (do you know and trust them, are they comfortable with you leaving), and your child’s behavior (if they tend to get out of hand in a crowd or are overly shy they may need you there). When my kids were younger I always asked (the host parents) before I just dropped them.
