French Macarons Party Trend

We all know about the cupcake craze by now, and certainly how popular cake pops and whoopie pies have become in recent months too, but there is still one more tasty party trend on the rise these days and that is French Macarons, yes, that’s right, Macarons, not macaroons. These lovely, dainty French pastries are popping up everywhere from weddings to goody bags, and really are a perfect treat for a child’s tea party or to serve as a  little girl’s favor to her friends as they depart her Paris party.  The lovely pastel colors and size are perfect for any child’s party.  What a delight!
