For those who don’t know, the main character Miley Stewart, is a regular kid going to school by day, but, by night, she is pop star Hannah Montana! She doesn’t want her friends to find out about her “star” status so she can be treated like everyone else. She just wants a normal life. Tweens love this program.
Make sure to check out all of the Hannah Montana Party Supplies to make planning easy!
Here are some ideas to throw a great Hannah Montana themed birthday party!
Invitations
Send an invitation in the shape of an I-Pod, and provide all of the party details on the I-Pod Invitation. Definitely state that Hannah Montana music will be featured!
Decorations
Given that Miley lives a double life, make your home reflect this same dualism for your party. Decorate your home to look like a stage for performances in one room, and a regular room that looks like a classroom. For the stage room, feature low lights, balloons, streamers, karaoke machine, etc. all set for a “Hannah Montana” concert. In the regular “classroom” have posters hanging, perhaps a globe, make it all very ordinary and regular. Definitely have the music playing! It will be fun to have this room closed off so that the kids can’t see this fun room, i.e. a basement.
Activities
When the kids enter the party, have them take a Hannah Montana quiz on the computer in the regular room. That will get them talking!
Give the kids the opportunity to get dressed up for their Hannah Montana performance. Provide hair spray, brushes, hair clips, lip gloss, blush, etc. for the kids to get ready. If there are boys at the party, they can also comb their hair and look cool with tattoos.
Food
Have the kids mix and mingle in the regular “classroom setting” ~ you may even want to mix it up and have cake and ice cream or serve a meal while they are catching up, and playing their own antics. Just like in the show. This should be easy!
After the meal has been served, let them in on the glam side of this party. Let them take to the party stage and perform songs with the karaoke machine as individuals, or you can split the group into two groups and they can practice a performance together and perform in front of the other. This is the real fun of this party, letting the kids “play out” their glam fantasies!! This can be the main bulk of the fun.
I highly recommend making these little I-Pod Cakes! They are so cute and perfect for this tween party!
Goodies/Favors
So many choices come to mind…temporary tattoos for the boys would be a great idea. Autograph books with fun pens would be another…make sure all of the kids capture each other autographs before the party ends. Lip gloss, Hannah Montana stickers, crayons with Hannah Montana printables, all are great ideas. Send them home with ring pops and cell phone bubble gum. All great ideas!

[…] Music is not only great for the little ones under 5, but also proves to be an all-time favorite for the tween and teen sets, whether being American Idols, replicating Hannah Montana, holding a Disco or Dancing With the Stars…music is often an integral party theme for many different ages. […]

I am thinking of doing this for my daughter’s party and I had a couple of ideas
that you may find useul. First I am making the invitations in the shape of microphones. On the invitations I am going to state that there will be a special l prize for the winner of a Hannah Montana look-alike contest. We will probably have a Karoke stage there for the girls to perform. Also ( I won’t be doing this but some may be interested) in trying to decide what party teme to go with I found a little store called Libby Lu’s. They offer party packages where the birthday girl and several friends can have a Hannah makeover complete with a long blond wig in their store. The cost of this is $27.00 a child. Fo decorations at my party I am going to hang posters on the walls of Hannah and Miley as well as coordinating colors of crepe paper and balloons. Hope some of this is helpful.

I TOOK AND SCANNED THE COVER OF MY DAUGHTER’S HANNAN MONTANA CD CASE INTO THE COMPUTER AND MADE UP INVITATIONS USING THE PICTURE AND THEY REALLY TURNED OUT NEAT! MY DAUGHTER IS ALSO INTO ALL THE TWEEN MAGAZINES THAT HAVE ALL THE PULL-OUT POSTERS, SO I PLAN ON HANGING UP THE POSTERS OF ALL THE HANNAH MONTANA CHARACTERS UP AS DECORATIONS. I FOUND THAT MOST OF THE HANNAH MONTANA PARTY SUPPLIES ARE CHEAPER AT BIRTHDAY DIRECT AND WE HAD OUR ORDER WITHIN THE WEEK OF ORDERING. I AM STUCK ON GAMES TO PLAY WITH 10 YEAR OLDS. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS? I THOUGHT ABOUT WATER BALLOON HOT POTATO, BUT I STILL HAVE NOT DECIDED ON ANY OTHERS. I HOPE SOME OF MY IDEAS WERE HELPFUL.

I have some great ideas for a hannah montana party and I hope that they are helpful.
I sent out invitations (Usual) and put sleepover or late night party on them. When they come we will put iron on rhinestones on black t.shirts(Wal-mart) that say “fabulous”, “Sweet” and “Whatever” and then we will make our own stationery kit with stamps (from Stampin’ up!) and make them look like rockstar-ey. Then we will do a movie premire and get a projection screen in the back yard to watch hannah montana profile dvd. after that We will play musical chairs with her new c.d. and the winner gets a hannah montana sweat band that says “Secret star” (Claire’s). We also might do a fashion show, and have some neighbor girls come over and do the girls hair and makeup.
After the fashion show, I’ll let the girls have a pillow fight, or truth or dare downstairs in the guest room where they can all fit. They can do Guitar Hero (gamestop) downstairs and have a tournament and they can do whatever they want as long as they are quiet until midnight then its lights out and in the morning I will make pancakes and waffles for them and they can drink milk or orange juice, then they will call their moms and while they are waiting for their moms to come we will play pin the wig on Miley. then treat bags stuffed with candy. I hope my ideas were helpful.

I am planning a Hannah Montana Party for my 6 yr old. We found a great person on ebay that does awesome invitations. She makes them 4×6 size and laminates them, puts them on a black cord necklace like backstage passes. They are the cutest things ever! I also found some light up guitar necklaces at ustoy.com and we’re using the hannah montana lip gloss rings. We’re having the party at a place similiar to Libby lu, they get makeovers and dress up and sing to Hannah music. No mess for me to clean up!!

My daughters 4th birthday is coming up on Nov. 13, 2007 and I was wanting to know if Hannah Montana could send her a bithday card in the mail. She watches her show all the time, plays around the house signing her songs. She love the one from the show, The bone dance she does not know all the words but she sings it all the time and Best of both worlds. If this could happen please email me and I will send you my address.
Thank you,

My daughter’s 8th birthday is December 2nd and we have decided to have a Hannah Montana Sleepover Party. We are doing it 2 nights before birthday. I sent home letters I did on the computer with hannah pictures ahead of time so the parents could pencil it in on their schedules early since it’s in the holiday season, and I’m sending out the actual Hannah invitations this week. I made “concert tickets” on business cards to put in the invitations as reminders for the parents, and I’m putting little magnets on the back so they can hang them up on the fridge. I made them look just like an actual concert ticket. My daughter is going to the concert the Sunday before her birthday and she doesn’t know it yet, so I looked at the real tickets and made them by those. We have Hannah Goody boxes we are putting their party favors in and Hannah lip gloss rings to go in them. We are going to do “makeovers” and we have Hannah Montana make up kits that were purchased from Walgreens for each girl. We bought the boas from the dollar tree for each girl, and after our makeovers we are going to have a photo shoot. I’m going to get the pictures developed and have 1 for each of the girls to take home with them. I made a Hannah Montana 2008 calender on my printmaster program and printed 1 out for each girl, and I printed out stickers and making bookmarks for each of them. I have all the lyrics printed out to both CD’s and the girls are going to have their own “Hannah Concert”. I think it’s going to be alot of fun not only for me but the girls too, lol!!

-Invitations-
Make your Hannah Montana invitations in the shape of an I-pod. Cut out a rectangle shape from a piece of construction paper or colored paper. On your computer type out your invitation information, make sure it’s small and in a box shape. Word your invitation as following, “Hey get up, get loud, start pumping up the party now at (your name) house on (Date). So get the best of both worlds and make your reservations with Hannah Montana’s manager at (phone number)! You can even be a rock star and dress up as your favorite Hannah Montana character. ” Cut it out and glue it onto your I-pod. Don’t forget to include all the little details such as a screen changer. Deliver it to your guests three to two weeks in advance.
Or
Make an invitation using a blank CD case. Buy blank CD cases, one for each guest. Open it up and take out the CD and the CD case cover paper. Trace the CD case cover paper onto a blank piece of paper. On the traced paper write down, “Hey get up, get loud, start pumping up the party now!” On the blank side of the CD write down, “….at (your name) house on (Date). So get the best of both worlds and make your reservations with Hannah Montana’s manager at (phone number)! You can even be a rock star and dress up as your favorite Hannah Montana character. ” Insert the Trace CD case cover into the CD cover (Don’t forget to add a picture of Hannah Montana on the cover) and insert the CD, blank side up, into the CD slot.
-Decorations-
1. Use the colors hot pink, lime green, blue, and purple for the party room.
2. Hang Hannah Montana posters around the room using yellow star stickers to tape them down.
3. Cover your party table with a hot pink or purple table cloth. Sprinkle confetti stars all over the table, too.
4. Hang paper microphones and streamers from the ceiling.
5. Hang old CD’s from the ceiling. Decorate the CD’s back side with glitter paint and stickers. Let dry. When done, use string to hang them from the ceiling.
6. Lay out a red carpet in front of your party room. You can buy felt or use a red table cloth.
7. Create a walk of fame by writing your guest names onto a foil star. After that tape it, or hammer it, onto a thin piece of wood. Place the signs outside your house leading up your driveway.
8. Create a stage! Hang a rope from one side of the room to the other. Hang light fabric over the rope for curtains, and viola, you have a stage.
9. Hang a beaded curtain in front of the party room’s door. You can also hand the beads in front of windows, too!
10. Hang Christmas lights over the party room’s windows. Set them to blink for some real Hollywood style. You could also change the bulbs to colored ones if they’re white lights.
-Games-
1. Pin the microphone on Hannah: Before the party make several microphones, enough for all your guests. To play blind fold all your guests with a cloth, bandanas work best and guide them into the party room. Lead them to the picture of Hannah Montana, no peeking at the picture. Each person has to try to place their microphone to Hannah’s hand. The winner is the guest who places the microphone closest to Hannah’s hand.
2. Dress up Relay: Quick! Hannah needs to get ready for her concert and you can help with this game! Divide guests into two teams. Give each team a shopping bag filled with over sized skirts, socks, shirts, a jacket, necklaces, shoes, sun glasses, and last, but not least, a Hannah Montana wig. On “go” the first person in each team has to grab their shopping bag, run to other side of the room, put on all the items from their shopping bags. Then players have to run back, take off all the items, and give the shopping bag to the next player in line. The winner is the team that finishes first.
3. Microphone hot potato: Have all your guests gather around in a circle and pass around a microphone while Hannah Montana music is playing. When the music stops the person who is holding the microphone has to sing a few bars from the Hannah Montana sound track; they are out. Continue playing until every one has had a chance to sing.
4. Darn, I broke a nail: Hannah Montana has to have perfect nails, and so will all of your guests after this game, well maybe not! To play this game, give every one press on nails. Once every one has their nails on give them an orange. On go players must try to peel their oranges. The winner is the person who has the least amount of broken nails.
5. Donut Game: Its time for a berry pie eating contest, but, oops, wait a minute! Hannah Montana doesn’t like berries! Let’s try this game instead. Hang powdered donuts from the ceiling with string. Players have to try to eat all of their donut with out using their hands!
6. Erase the crime: Hannah needs to conceal her identity! Help her erase the Miley/Hannah picture Rico took of her. Give each guest three water balloons and have them stand behind a line facing the side walk. On the sidewalk draw a square. Inside the square draw a small picture of Hannah Montana and Miley Stewart. The guest who can completely erase the two pictures of Miley Stewart with the fewest water balloons is the winner.
7. Drink Serve: Jackson needs your help! He has so many orders and so little time, so let’s help him out. To play have your guests divide into two teams. Hand the first person in each team a cup. They have to fill that cup with water, race to the other end of the room, and dump their cups into an empty bucket. The catch? Players have to carry the cups full of water on top of their heads! The winner is the team with the most water in their bucket at the end of one minute.
-Crafts-
1. Flip-Flop Decoration: Buy inexpensive pairs of flip flops for each of your guests. At the party have all your guests decorate their flip flops with ribbons, jewels, stickers, etc. Your guest will love the idea of decorating their own flip flops, and they double as great birthday party favors. Don’t forget to find out all your guests shoe sizes.
2. Autographs, Please: Buy inexpensive autograph books, one for each guest. At the party have all of your guest decorate their autograph book by writing their names on the cover with glitter paint. Let dry. After that have each guest decorate their books with stickers, jewels, etc. When done, have guests sign each others books like true Hollywood stars.
-Snacks-
1. Star shaped sandwiches (Make sandwiches and cut using a star shaped cookie cutter)
2. I-pod cakes- Bake a regular square brownie. Cut into small, rectangular sizes; frost with icing. Decorate the mini brownies with flatted gum drops for the screen and screen changer (To flatten a gum drop, roll a rolling pin over it). For the wire attach a string of licorice into the bottom of the brownies. Cover it up with icing so that the wire stays attached onto the brownie. For the head phones dab a dot of frosting between two Spears or Sweet-tarts. Sandwich the two frosted covered candy between the licorice strings. Use white frosting to draw on arrows and you are done.
3. Have a all cheese menu. Serve snacks such as cheese popcorn, mac and cheese, cheese puffs, grilled cheese sandwiches, cheese crackers, etc.
4. Sprinkled cookies- Frost a colorful vanilla wafer with white frosting. Pour candy sprinkles on top of the frosting. Serve and enjoy!
5. Magazine Cake- Make your guests all feel like stars with this special cake. Ask if your local bakery can print a colored photo on top of cake. If they can provide a scrap book copy, one filled with pictures of your guest. Top the cake with fancy sparkler candles. When it’s time to eat dim the lights and enjoy.
7. Dip strawberries into melted chocolate. Let freeze for about an hour, and then serve.
8. Make napkin rings from star garland! Fold napkins and roll until they look like a cylinder. Tie the cylinder shaped napkins with purple colored, star garland.
-Activities-
1. Oh Baby: Have all your guests bring in one baby picture of themselves. Set the pictures onto a table (don’t let any of your guest show other guests which picture is theirs!). Number each picture. To play give each player a piece of paper and have them number their paper. As they see the baby pictures they have to guess who’s, who. The person with the most correct answers is the winner.
2. Lip Sync: Lip sync to the songs of Hannah Montana. Come up with some dance moves and bust a move on stage. Don’t forget to video tape the performances for added fun!
3. Who am I: When your guests arrive place a picture of a character from Hannah Montana onto their backs (Don’t let them see it!). To play, players have to ask yes or no questions to figure out which character they are. To make this game harder you can let them only ask 3 questions to figure out which character they are.
-Gift Bags-
At the end of your Hannah Montana birthday party hand out unique gift bags! Here are some gift bag idea and stuff to fill them with:
1. Cheap, but cute, purses: The best part about this is the fact that they serve as double purposes. Stuff them with candy!
2. Buy Hannah Montana CD’s and wrap them with tutu tulle.
3. Stuff a small Hannah Montana notebook and feathery pen inside a plastic, decorative cup.
4.Buy a camera and tie a tag around it saying “Get some good shots of Hannah Montana!”
5. Wrap some Hannah Montana looking flip flops with a wash cloth or beach towel.
6. Hand out pink or purple colored photo frames or photo album. If you can place a picture of the party into the photo album and picture frame.

I’m having my daughter’s 6th birthday party at a pizza parlor and she is a huge Hannah Montana fan and wants that for her theme. Any party game ideas to do? Crafts? Anything will help out. Boys will also be there so anything will help. Thank you!

I would make a fun craft like Felt Purses ~ i.e. fancy purses that Hannah Montana will use to go out on the town. Check out this link:
http://www.bizrate.com/kidsarts_craftssupplies/products__keyword–felted+purses.html
For the boys, they can enjoy some temporary tattoos! They may also enjoy making cool DIY wallets for themselves. You may want to do something like a duct tape wallet…this seems a bit old for 6-year-olds, but it might give you some inspiration:
http://www.delight.com/Make-Your-Own-Duct-Tape-Wallet-Kit
I would also ask the kids to come dressed up as Hannah Montana, or, for the boys, as a boy character from the show. Have a sing-a-long at the party table, just make sure to get the OK from the pizza parlor!
Hope some of these ideas help!

I’m planning my daughter’s 10th birthday and have a couple ideas if you’re looking! The Hannah Montana Concert Movie is coming out in February, so we’re taking a few friends and having a sleepover afterwards. I bought a box of Hannah Valentines and have designed a card the size and shape of a CD. When you open it, up pops up one of the pictures of Hannah that I cut from the Valentines. We’re going with a heart shaped cake because of the closeness to Valentine’s Day. I am crocheting kind of lacey/open rock star scarves for each of the girls. They girls can watch a TiVo’d episode of HM if they want after the “concert” or have a singing/dance party. We’ll also all make bead bracelets if it looks like they need a little down time. We’ll serving pink popcorn and chocolate covered cherries for munchies. I hope you find in idea or two to help you!
