Lying to Your Child About His Birthday?

MomLogic featured an interesting post on a mother who states I Lie to My Son About When His Birthday Is!  The parent has anxiety over hosting large parties and entertaining the kids and parents.  She’s guilt-ridden and horrified that she did this, but it’s an interesting read.  What if you are a parent that is shy and doesn’t like to host parties…not even every other year.  Does your child suffer as a result?
